As its title suggests to Peanuts fans, baseball is the focus of this action-adventure, but before perennial pitcher-manager Charlie Brown can play in the "big game," he'll need to round up a team to take the field. As opening day looms, players guide Charlie Brown to seek out his friends and acquaintances, and participate in a variety of character-appropriate mini-games to convince them each to join his team.
Once a team has been gathered, it's on to a more mini-games, designed to mimic aspects of baseball itself. The computer adventure approaches the sport from a beginners' perspective, so new players can learn the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, and scoring from the start. Who knows? With practice and a little luck, gamers might even be able to guide Charlie Brown's team to its first win in...well...ever! Good grief.
